Tamarack is seeking a proactive and creative Social Media & Paid Advertising Coordinator to help drive the digital presence and performance of our clients’ brands. This hybrid role combines social media management, content coordination, and paid campaign execution - working closely with our internal creative, production, and advertising teams.You’ll play a hands-on role in planning and publishing organic content, managing ad campaigns, analyzing performance, and using AI and automation tools to improve Tamarack’s output, efficiency, and overall client success while working in a positive, collaborative, and highly creative environment.
Location: Nelson, BC (Hybrid)
Type: Full-Time, Salaried
Start Date: Immediately
Compensation: $3,500 - $5,000 per month (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities
Social Media Management
- Write engaging, on-brand copy and schedule posts across multiple client accounts.
- Complete the Organic Social Media Strategy components within larger client Marketing Strategy projects.
- Collaborate with Tamarack’s creative and production teams to coordinate short-form content for clients’ social channels.
- Manage audience engagement by responding to comments, messages, and fostering authentic community interaction.
- Stay current with trends, social algorithms, and tools that drive reach and engagement.
- Use AI and automation tools to improve efficiency and elevate creative quality (e.g., ManyChat, ChatGPT-based tools, scheduling or analytics software).
Paid Advertising
- Build, monitor, and optimize paid ad campaigns across Meta, Google, and other relevant platforms.
- Analyze and report on ad performance, ensuring spend aligns with client goals and campaign scope.
- Collaborate with the Director of Operations to ensure ad budgets and timelines are effectively managed.
- Develop and test new creative or targeting strategies based on results and insights.
Process, Collaboration & Quality Control
- Coordinate timelines, assets, and feedback with creative and account teams to ensure content accuracy and brand consistency
- Maintain accurate records of performance metrics, deliverables, and campaign documentation.
- Continuously identify new trends, AI tools, and emerging technologies that enhance Tamarack’s marketing services and client value

- A strong communicator who has the ability to understand the individual needs of each of our social media and paid ad clients.
- Data-driven and detail-oriented, with a passion for both creative storytelling and performance results.
- Highly organized and comfortable managing multiple client accounts at once.
- Naturally curious about marketing tech, AI, and automation tools that can improve creative efficiency
Required Skills
- Experience with Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, and reporting dashboards
- Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud, Canva, or other design tools.
- Basic understanding of short-form video editing for social platforms

Based on performance and evolving agency needs, the Social Media & Paid Advertising Coordinator position could develop into future roles such as Account Coordinator or Director of Advertising - providing opportunities to lead client strategy, campaign management, and marketing direction across Tamarack’s portfolio.
